Health and Safety Advisor – Estates

Join University of the Arts London as a Health and Safety Advisor to play a vital role in supporting staff and students across our academic and professional services community as part of the University's Health and Safety team.

You will have the opportunity to provide expert, accessible advice as well as deliver high-quality health and safety support across a diverse organisation, in person and remotely.

You’ll influence and engage departments, shape annual safety plans, conduct inspections and monitor compliance.

From risk assessment and incident investigation to training delivery and committee participation, you’ll help to advance a proactive health and safety culture.

About you
The successful candidate will have excellent health and safety expertise and be able to evidence how they have applied that knowledge effectively in the workplace. Experience of advising on health and safety within a creative, or complex and dynamic environment is essential.

You will hold a Level 5 or 6 Health and Safety Diploma (e.g. NEBOSH, NCRQ or equivalent) and be a graduate member of IOSH, actively working towards Chartered status.

You will bring credibility and presence, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence at all levels. Your ability to build strong, lasting relationships will be key, alongside excellent communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, high-quality written work.
