Veterinary Nurse (Equine) 0.6fte - Grade 5

Hours of work:  Part-time 21 hrs per week

Tenure: Fixed term for 1 year

We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the friendly team at Leahurst Equine, one of the UK's largest and busiest multidisciplinary equine referral centres.

Ideally, you will have equine nursing experience and confidence in theatre, diagnostic imaging and emergency and critical care.

You will provide high-quality inpatient nursing and husbandry, support theatre and diagnostic imaging, maintain the clinical environment and work closely with clinical, yard and administrative colleagues.

You will also support the teaching of veterinary and veterinary nursing students in an inclusive learning environment.

The role includes participation in a rota covering weekends, bank holidays and University closed days.
