Introduction

The Role
As part of our ambitious growth strategy, we are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship to support the continued growth of our Entrepreneurship portfolio within Southampton Malaysia Business School, including undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.
The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching across areas including entrepreneurial mindset and opportunity recognition, new venture creation, innovation management, business model development, entrepreneurial finance, venture growth and scaling, and related entrepreneurship disciplines. They will also contribute to curriculum development, student supervision, research activities and the wider academic life of the School.
This balanced academic role requires an educator and researcher who is passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation and committed to delivering engaging, experiential and student-centred learning experiences. Responsibilities include teaching, assessment design, supervision of student projects, including venture creation and incubation-based projects, curriculum development, scholarly activity and engagement with industry to support the University's research and enterprise ambitions.
