The role and what we’re looking for
We are seeking to appoint two Lecturers in Accounting to join our highly regarded and ambitious Accounting and Finance group. We welcome applications from outstanding scholars who have completed a PhD in any area of Accounting and demonstrate the ability to further enhance the group’s research profile through the publication of high-quality, impactful work in the Accounting subject area. The successful candidates will also be expected to pursue external funding opportunities and to build meaningful engagement with businesses, policymakers, and other key stakeholders.
We are interested in candidates who can deliver an exceptional teaching experience in financial reporting and/or management accounting. The successful applicants will contribute to the delivery of modules across our highly successful undergraduate Accounting and Finance programme, as well as our suite of MSc programmes. They will also play an active role in curriculum development, student support, and the broader academic life of the Accounting and Finance group and the Business School.
This post is available on a full-time open-ended basis. Hybrid working is also available, with a mix of working in the office and from home.
