The School
Paramedic Science is located within the School of Health Sciences, a dynamic academic community offering a broad portfolio of pre-registration, accredited programmes, including Adult Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Diagnostic Radiotherapy, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy. The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Paramedic Science Senior Lecturer/Lecturer to join our academic team within the School of Health Sciences. The post-holder will play a key role in teaching, curriculum development, and academic administration within the BSc and MSc Paramedic Science programmes, shaping the delivery of high-quality Paramedic Science education for the next generation of practitioners. Knowledge and/or experience of working in critical care is desirable.
The role requires a strong commitment to inclusive teaching, student support and continuous professional development. The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to deliver teaching across a breadth and depth of paramedic science topics, reflecting clinical reasoning, evidence-based and person-centred care.

Key Requirements
The successful candidate should hold current registration with the HCPC as a Registered Paramedic. Experience of teaching within a Higher Education Institution is essential for the senior lecturer position and desirable for a lecturer position. and your application should detail your areas of clinical/teaching experience and expertise. Additionally, you will share our values of fairness, sustainability and inspiring others to succeed.
