We are the University of Cumbria, for and from Cumbria and our localities, rooted in serving our communities, with people, place and partnership at our heart.
Now is a very exciting time to be joining us because we are delivering a new "Towards 2030" strategic plan focused on making the most of our three most valuable assets; People, Place and Partnerships, to become a catalyst for economic well-being for our region, nationally and internationally.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative and engaging Outreach Officer to join our Hello Future team. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young people to consider higher education and help them realise their potential. Part of the Uni Connect Programme, this role is fixed term until 31st July 2027.
As an Outreach Officer, you'll design and deliver engaging activities for schools and colleges, working with learners from a wide range of backgrounds. No two days are the same—you could be delivering interactive workshops, organising campus events, supporting student ambassadors or building relationships with teachers and community partners.
If you're motivated, enjoy working with young people and are passionate about making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Interviews will be held on Thursday 27th August at the Fusehill Street campus, Carlisle.
We offer a comprehensive set of staff benefits which includes a competitive salary, 35 hour full-time working week, 33 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working in line with business need, and an excellent pension scheme with 8% employer contribution.
