Lead student casework and oversee academic regulations at a bilingual, research-active university in North Wales.
This senior Registry role oversees Complaints and Conduct, Fitness to Study and other casework procedures, alongside the development and review of University Regulations, Codes of Practice and academic governance frameworks. You'll provide expert advice on complex casework, deputise for the Safeguarding and Prevent Leads, and contribute to major service improvement projects including Registry '27.
We're looking for senior HE registry experience, a track record managing sensitive casework or regulatory processes, and strong skills in policy development, stakeholder influence and team leadership. You should be educated to a postgraduate degree level or have equivalent experience. The ability to communicate in Welsh is essential for this post.
This role will be located on campus at Bangor. Through our Dynamic Working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely (remaining in the UK) to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
