Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to contribute to a landmark arts and education development?

We are seeking two Project Managers to join The Courtauld's Campus Programme team and play a key role in delivering an exciting cultural and educational project in London. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a major construction and fit-out programme while helping to shape the future of a world-leading arts institution.

With a masterplan by 2025 RIBA Stirling Prize-winning architects Witherford Watson Mann, and designed in collaboration with Purcell and Lawson Ward Studio, the new Courtauld Campus is expected to open in 2029.

This new phase of building development will focus on upgrading and expanding the Courtauld’s remaining space at Somerset House, which will be newly connected to a suite of neighbouring townhouses on 152-158 Strand. The project will secure the long-term future of these townhouses and see their historic façades being carefully restored. The Courtauld Institute and Gallery will be reunited on one campus, bringing the Courtauld’s students, staff, art historians, conservators, curators, visitors and art collection together under one roof.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking suitably experienced, ambitious and committed individuals who are keen to build on their existing project-focused experience and develop further knowledge of construction projects.   If you have prior experience of working client-side on a construction or fit-out project or if you have worked elsewhere but have the relevant experience and skill-set, we would love to hear from you.

Role Details

X 2 Project Manager roles | Fixed-term (until Dec 2028) | Full-time | Hybrid| Salary Range: Grade 7 (£52,947 - £60,658) pa

Key Responsibilities

• Project management of client-side input into key construction & fit-out packages
• Lead the planning for the programme of activity associated with the operational move into the new campus ensuring full input of colleagues across the organisation
• Play an integral role in the establishment of the Project Management Office function for the project. Ensuring all project control processes are adhered to & inputting to key reporting for all governance groups
• Undertake key liaison role with all internal & external stakeholder groups
