Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry

About the Role

We are seeking a 0.8 FTE Clinical Lecturer in Paediatric Dentistry to join our Paediatric Dentistry team. The role combines undergraduate teaching and clinical supervision of BDS and BSc Dental Hygiene and Therapy students with oversight of the delivery, assessment and quality assurance of the paediatric dentistry curriculum within the three-year BSc programme. The majority of the time (minimum 70%) for the post holder will be dedicated to clinical teaching and supervision, supporting students in developing safe, effective and evidence-based patient care within outreach and clinical settings.

About You

You will be an experienced clinician with expertise in paediatric dentistry and a strong track record of undergraduate teaching and clinical supervision. You will have experience of leading or coordinating teaching, assessment or curriculum delivery within a BDS, Dental Hygiene and Therapy or equivalent healthcare programme, together with a commitment to educational excellence and scholarship.
