Partnerships and Student Recruitment Manager

If you have a track record in student recruitment and in building effective international partnerships, this is an opportunity to join an ambitious team and help deliver growth for the LSE Summer School.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing and Recruitment, you will oversee the design and execution of recruitment plans for the LSE Summer School. The role combines student recruitment activity with building and maintaining relationships with selected universities, and will work closely with colleagues across marketing, admissions, and business development.

You will lead the planning and delivery of recruitment activity across international, UK and virtual channels; monitor performance against KPIs; and use market insight, application data and partner feedback to guide efforts. You will also manage the recruitment budget, coordinate trips and events, oversee student ambassador activity, and line manage one direct report.

We are looking for a self-starter with excellent organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills. You will be confident working with partners and colleagues at different levels, creative in developing recruitment initiatives, and analytical in evaluating their effectiveness. Experience in Higher Education and a genuine interest in the international education market are highly desirable.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following key attributes:

• Experience of delivering student recruitment plans and initiatives that achieve results 
• Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with international partners and working across cultures 
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate performance and present data and reports clearly and succinctly 
• Experience of using CRM systems to support recruitment activity and of managing budgets effectively 
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate and facilitate action 
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Flexible working arrangements are supported within the team. To ensure effective collaboration, stakeholder engagement and an excellent student experience, team members are expected to work on campus for a minimum of three days per week. During the Summer School delivery period, when the level of operational activity and on-campus engagement increases, this rises to four days per week.
