Birmingham Newman University is growing and we are seeking a Conversion Officer to support the achievement of our student recruitment ambitions.
This exciting role sits within the Student Recruitment team and plays a key part in helping prospective students progress from enquiry and application through to enrolment.
Working across the full student recruitment cycle, you will coordinate and deliver applicant conversion activities that increase application, offer acceptance and enrolment rates. You will engage prospective students through targeted communications, personalised outreach campaigns and applicant events, ensuring they receive timely information and support throughout their journey.
The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across Student Recruitment, Marketing, Admissions, Academic Schools and Professional Services to deliver an outstanding applicant experience. You will support CRM-driven communications, analyse conversion performance data, gather applicant insight and recommend improvements to enhance recruitment outcomes.
You will be an enthusiastic and highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities and experience of working in a customer-focused environment. Experience using CRM systems and data to support engagement activity is essential.
You will also contribute to Offer Holder Days, Open Days, webinars and other student recruitment events. A willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
