About us:
The Transformation Office sits at the heart of King's College London, supporting senior leaders to turn strategy into action and deliver meaningful, lasting change across the University.
As part of the Transformation Office, the Change Management team plays a critical role in helping King's successfully navigate and embed change. We work across some of the University's most significant strategic initiatives, partnering with leaders, colleagues and stakeholders to ensure change is delivered in a way that engages people, builds capability and achieves sustainable outcomes.
Joining our team offers the opportunity to contribute to transformation that impacts staff, students and the wider King's community while developing your expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Change Manager to join our growing Change Management team within the Transformation Office.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering some of King's most important transformation programmes. Working closely with the Senior Change Manager, you will help shape and deliver change strategies that support successful adoption, increase engagement and build organisational readiness for change across the University.
The role offers significant variety and exposure, providing the opportunity to work with senior leaders, academic colleagues, professional services teams and external partners. You will be responsible for developing and delivering change management activities that help people understand, engage with and embrace change.
You will support the creation and delivery of change management plans, including stakeholder engagement, impact assessments, sponsor roadmaps, communications activities and approaches to managing resistance. Alongside programme delivery, you will coach and support sponsors and leaders through the change journey, helping to build confidence and capability across the organisation.
As part of King's wider ambition to strengthen change capability, you will also contribute to the development of the University's Change Community of Practice and Transformation Network. You will help deliver training, coaching, tools and practical guidance that empower colleagues to lead and deliver change successfully.
This role would suit someone with strong stakeholder engagement skills, a collaborative approach and a genuine passion for helping people navigate change. In return, you will have the opportunity to work on high-profile initiatives, develop your professional expertise and make a meaningful contribution to the future of King's.
This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) offered on a fixed-term basis until July 2028. We operate a hybrid working model, with colleagues typically spending two days per week on campus and three days working remotely.
