The University is looking for a Project Manager provide high level and specialist project management and administrative service to the ‘Delivering Humanised Places’ project funded by UKRI. Based in the Division of Urban Studies and Social Policy, the project will involve working with an interdisciplinary team within the University of Glasgow as well as in partnership with Heatherwick Studio/Humanise.
In this role, you will coordinate and running meetings and workshops with a wide range of stakeholders and communities to generate insights that will inform the project, with the support and input of the larger, interdisciplinary research team.
You will be expected to develop relationships with policy actors from different policy sectors, as well as key public and private sector stakeholders. As successful candidate, you will have significant experience in providing a full range of project management functions, including stakeholder management, higher-level administrative services and multi-site team coordination for higher education, government and/or Third Sector projects involving co-production and participatory approaches.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are requirements for the job.
This post is part time (21 hours per week) and Fixed Term for up to 15 months or fixed till 31.03.2028
