Fixed term position for 12 months (maternity cover)
Under the guidance of the Director of Graduate Studies and the UG and PGR Administrative Officer, your duties will include the administration of all postgraduate research including: admissions, recruitment, induction, student records / statistics, progress, publications, examinations, funding and related financial analysis and reporting. You will provide a high level of customer care for postgraduate research students, liaising with academic staff, postgraduate research students (prospective and current), and support staff within the department and in the University Graduate School and Student Finance.
You will be educated to A-level standard or equivalent, including GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You will be able to work to tight deadlines, be able to work independently to a high standard, have excellent IT skills and have demonstrable administrative experience in a similar role in the HE Sector.
Interviews will take place in the first two weeks of October.
