The University of Wolverhampton Business School is seeking to make two senior research appointments at Professorial level. We are seeking to appoint a Professor to lead the Management Research Centre and a Professor of Marketing.
We are looking to appoint a Professor of Marketing to contribute to research in the Department of Marketing, Innovation, Leisure and Enterprise. We are active members of the Chartered Institution of Marketing hosting lectures and events and we are keen to extend this activity working with regional, national and international stakeholders.
Located within the Faculty of Social Sciences, the University of Wolverhampton Business School offers a full range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, as well as a highly successful Doctoral programme and professional development programmes. We have a strong track record of engagement with business and knowledge exchange including innovative developments in degree apprenticeships and executive education. Our strong industry links are reflected in our approach which is focused on the pursuit of rigorous and relevant applied business and management research.
Following a period of sustained success in recruitment, student satisfaction and business engagement, the Business School has recently completed a £19 million investment in its facilities. In the last REF, 79% of our research was judged to be of internationally recognised standard and higher. The University is committed to investments to further enhance the Business School’s research.
Through the appointment of two new Professors, we aim to continue to build our research capacity, outputs and community. We seek to appoint scholars that share our mission to deliver high quality research that has relevance for practice, will underpin our curriculum and develop our community of early career researchers and PhD students.
