The normal expectation is that the successful applicant will be appointed to the minimum of the scale with annual increments on 1 October each year (subject to completing six months service).
Main Purpose of the Post
We require a lecturer to take primary responsibility for the teaching and development of our established MSc in health data science, initially as the course lecturer, but with a view to taking on the role of course director. The post holder is expected to work collaboratively within the existing health informatics teaching team and also to contribute to the wider expanding portfolio of courses and innovative delivery options. The post holder will be expected to develop new programmes, reacting to market demands, in addition to sharing organisational and academic administrative responsibilities.
The post requires delivery of high quality teaching and student learning and a commitment to enhancing the overall student experience.
