We have a vacancy for an experienced project manager to join the team on a fixed term basis for 12 months managing projects that form part of a large programme of IT-supported business change. This post is based in the Digital Services team, which is widely recognised across the organisation for its project management and business analysis expertise. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a highly collaborative team and can make a big contribution to the continued success of the team’s work.
You will work with project sponsors, system owners, suppliers and developers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget and provide the anticipated benefits into the future. You will have an enthusiasm and interest in technological solutions used for the delivery of services, and a good understanding of core university business practices. You will have excellent written and oral presentation skills, the ability to engage, liaise and negotiate effectively, as well as a commitment to delivering high quality customer service.
