We have an opportunity for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Organization Studies to deliver excellent research and teaching. In addition to teaching in the core areas of Organizational Behaviour and HR, we are particularly interested in candidates with teaching expertise in the areas of leadership, coaching and reflexive practice who can contribute to the School and the wider University in the areas of research, leadership and professional standing and wider engagement. As a member of the Organization Studies Research Cluster, we would be particularly looking for individuals who take a critical perspective in their areas of research interest and who can contribute to the ongoing strategic development of the group’s research aims.
You will take a pro-active role in enhancing our reputation for high quality and innovative teaching and research. You should be capable of delivering (i) first class research that combines theoretical sophistication with practical relevance and impact, (ii) an excellent student experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and (iii) generating income through research grants. Additionally, as a Senior Lecturer you will also be responsible for initiating and leading substantial research programmes and developing a strong personal reputation and professional standing.
You will hold a PhD in a relevant area (or equivalent qualifications/experience), will have teaching experience, evidence of the ability to produce high quality research publications. As Lecturer, you will have the ability to build and develop a team of researchers; as Senior Lecturer, you will have experience of building and developing a team of researchers (staff and research students).
