The Role
We are seeking a PA to provide professional support to the Dean of the Faculty of Business & Social Sciences and Pro Vice-Chancellor (PVC). Working across our campus locations, you will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive administrative service along with a broader support role between the Dean and the wider university. This will include, but is not limited to, efficient diary management, facilitating meetings on behalf of the Dean, internal and external stakeholder management, logistical support with faculty level events as well as a variety of additional activities to ensure the smooth running of the Dean’s Office.

The Person
Having had previous experience of working as a PA, ideally within Higher Education, you will be flexible, confident, and proactive in your approach with meticulous attention to detail. You’ll be educated to A-level or equivalent with the ability to demonstrate great organisation skills as well as the ability to meet conflicting deadlines.

Excellent diary management skills are essential, as well as the effective preparation of documentation on behalf of the Dean. You will have extensive experience of working with a variety of MS software packages to produce high quality documentation.

Further Information
This is a full-time, permanent, campus-based position with a starting salary of £29,581 per annum.
