We are looking for a proactive individual with experience of managing a large CRM database to join our busy, friendly team.

Working in the Advancement Office, you will support the University’s Alumni Relations and Philanthropy teams. The Alumni Relations team manage our on-going relationship with over 100,000 graduates and deliver a lifelong membership programme which informs and engages our global alumni community. The Philanthropy team develop and manage a portfolio of supporters to the University, with a focus on individuals (including alumni, staff and other stakeholders), charitable trusts and foundations and corporates, in support of scholarships, student activities and research. 

Duties of the Role

The role-holder will be responsible for producing strategic reports, ensuring effective and compliant management of data, and providing technical support for the Advancement Office. You will manage the CRM database, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge, providing critical data support for a programme of communications, events, volunteering and fundraising activity, as well as delivering stakeholder analysis for use across teams within the Communications and External Relations section.

Skills and qualifications required

The successful candidate will be adept at dealing with large data sets and using a database to run complex queries and manage segmentation. With advanced IT and data analysis skills, the successful candidate will be able to interpret data and produce insightful reports. An experienced administrator, candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills. The role-holder will need to have a positive, enthusiastic approach and have the ability to build collaborative relationships with colleagues across the University.
