We are recruiting a Teaching Associate (Level 4) to the School of Chemistry at the University of Nottingham, who will focus on the development and delivery of teaching and learning across our undergraduate degree programmes. The successful candidate will assist, as assigned by the School, in the delivery and assessment of tutorials, laboratory classes, lectures, and the co-supervision of students undertaking undergraduate and/or postgraduate research projects. They will also assist in the development of new teaching resources in the areas of physical and computational chemistry.

Professional development opportunities will be provided. We are looking for a colleague who can work collaboratively with other members of the School and University community to deliver effective innovative teaching practices that engage and support our students. In addition, the successful candidate will also be committed to the pastoral care and well-being of our students.

Successful candidates should have a first degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Physical Chemistry. The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching across a broad range of the physical chemistry curriculum.  

The post is full time, fixed term for 12 months. Job share arrangements may be considered.
