An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies Research Team as a Senior Research Administrator at the University of St Andrews.  The post will take leadership for a range of activities within the School Research Team, support the overall delivery of research administration across the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies and be the lead administrator for the COST project (interdisciplinary research network that brings researchers and innovators together from across Europe). 

The role holder will be flexible and be able to prioritise the needs of students, academics and the School. They will process excellent team and relationship management skills, sound judgement and effective problem-solving skills. They will have experience of working in a busy, customer focused environment and be committed to enhancing the School’s service to students, staff and external contacts.   

Experience in a similar role in a University or research environment with an understanding of finance within Higher Education would be advantageous but not essential.  

This is a full time position on a fixed-term contract for 4 years.
