We are currently advertising for the post of Training and Clinical Support Librarian (NHS) at the UCL Cruciform Hub which supports students, teaching staff and researchers of the UCL School of Life and Medical Sciences and provides comprehensive services to healthcare staff, learners and researchers at University College Hospital (part of UCLH NHS Foundation Trust) and Camden and Islington NHS Foundation trust (CANDI).
The post holder will focus on developing and delivering training on information skills and resources for UCLH staff both in person and online, promoting awareness of those resources and providing a mediated search service.
This is an on campus role. It is not suitable for regular remote working.
Work Pattern: Monday -Friday 9:00-17:18.
With a recognised graduate or postgraduate qualification in Librarianship or Information Studies the post holder will have significant experience of working in a health or medical library.
They will have experience of providing training in the use of healthcare knowledge resources, including designing and delivering training courses and have experience of conducting literature searches. They will also have excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to build an effective working relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.
