Supporting to provide smooth and efficient service delivery

As a hard-working and motivated individual, will be responsible for the provision of a professional, efficient administrative service, taking responsibility for operational aspects of programme delivery and other school operational activities. You will ensure deadlines are met and high-quality standards are maintained, working in accordance with University and School policies and procedures.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Administrating system module registrations for new and existing students.
  • Providing support on progression tasks.
  • Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running and operation of programmes of study.
  • Liaising with internal departments as required to ensure the smooth running of programmes, escalating any potential issues with programme delivery as appropriate.
  • Liaising with external stakeholders as required to support the programmes and their management.
  • Ensuring all system and student records remain up to date and accurate.
  • Assisting in processing invoices, accruals, and finance tasks during busy periods.
  • Enrolling and managing students on the Hub platform as and when required.
  • Providing administrative support to the resourcing team.
  • Offering ad-hoc support for Programme Operations Manager.
  • Delivering administrative support to school recruitment process, including coordinating interview process for freelance lecturers, and maintaining freelance database.

What we’re looking for 

  • Able to consistently work to a high degree of accuracy and possess exceptional attention to detail
  • Capable of organising, time-management and taking ownership of your workload
  • A clear and professional communicator both verbally and in writing
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel, Outlook and 365) is essential along with a high level of general digital literacy
  • Ability to record accurate data/information in a database
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work well within a team environment collaboratively
  • Strong numerical skills to enable you to analyze data
  • Possess a strong desire and capability to learn new skills and technologies
  • Knowledge of the higher education sector is an advantage
