Are you passionate about crafting compelling content that makes the lives of users easier? If so, we have the perfect role for you to develop your career as a copywriter or web manager at one of the UK’s top universities with a global reach. In this new role, you will support our Education Policy and Quality (EPQ) team to produce, maintain and organise user-centred digital content that supports our community of educators and education professionals to deliver brilliant teaching, learning and support for our students. You will lead the development of our channels for publishing to and communicating with our audiences, and you will partner with subject matter experts in our team to bring their technical content (guidance, policies, resources and news) to life in a way that understands and prioritises the needs of users. This is an opportunity to own a major improvement project, demonstrate your talent and leave a lasting legacy for the benefit of our staff and students.
Committed to delivering high-quality advice and support, you’ll be able to communicate clearly and persuade gently but effectively when needed. You’ll be an enthusiastic team player who can also work well independently. With recent experience in a similar role, you’ll be able to retain your focus and prioritise effectively within a broad and busy portfolio.
The Education Policy and Quality (EPQ) team is at the heart of Warwick’s Education Group. We’re here to help deliver Warwick’s education strategy; develop educational policy; and to assure and enhance Warwick’s educational provision, positively influencing the student experience. All of this sets the scene for our staff to deliver great education in their subjects.
As a friendly team of around 20 colleagues, we work supportively to deliver a demanding and rewarding workload. Our approach to hybrid working in EPQ is extremely flexible, with team members being expected to work on campus for at least one day a week, to include every Tuesday. You’re welcome to work full time from the office if that’s what you'd prefer.
If this role sounds right for you and you have any questions or would like to have an informal chat, we actively encourage you to get in touch before the closing date. Please send an email to Dan Derricott, Director of Education Policy and Quality – dan.derricott@warwick.ac.uk
Interview Date: TBC.
