We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in the area of Strategy and Management to support existing and new programmes as well as advance understanding in key areas of SE such as strategic management, project management, innovation, knowledge management, entrepreneurship and business engagement.
We are looking for highly motivated individual to join the Strategy and Entrepreneurship Division and the SEIB Research Group who can make a significant contribution to our research, teaching and learning strategy. Applicants with advanced research method skills or research in this area are particularly welcome. The SEIB Research Group has an excellent international reputation. Members regularly publish in 4-star ‘World Elite’ and 4-star journals, and have won research grants from funding bodies such as UKRI, ESRC, the British Academy, and Leverhulme Trust. There is a strong culture of research and collaboration within the department. Applicants will require a publication record in top-tier journals to fit in this group, while a record of income generation is desirable.
The successful applicant will also be expected to participate in at least one of the College research centres, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability and Global Lives, or a University Research Institute.
Teaching duties will include contributing effectively to the MSc programme in Management and BSc Entrepreneurship and Innovation, as well as to the undergraduate, MBA, and PhD programmes as required.
Applicants must possess a doctorate in a broadly relevant field and should have an active research profile in the subject area which includes journal publications in 3-star and 4-star journals. We require experience of teaching Strategy and Management, business research methods as applied to SE, or related management subjects to a high standard, which includes the ability to demonstrate effective and innovative teaching practice at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
In addition, applicants who have strong interest in teaching governance and leadership are highly preferable. Applicants should have rich experience in programme management and development, quality assurance and compliance processes to support the school and division further aligning to the university education strategy.
