The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering continues to grow and as a consequence we are advertising for two additional academics in the broad overlapping areas of Engineering Management and Manufacturing Engineering.
The ideal candidates will be on track to becoming outstanding researchers, doing innovative research which complements that being pursued in the Department. You will have emerging international recognition and a significant number of high-quality publications in top journals. You will have the potential to attract research funding from government and/or industrial sources. Our aim is to grow our research portfolio and you will be expected to take a major role in achieving that goal.
We are interested in applications from candidates whose research is in the broad areas of Engineering Management and Manufacturing Engineering, we are not prescriptive as to the precise area and welcome applications from all.
The successful candidate will hold a PhD in the relevant area. Will have the opportunity to work with colleagues in delivering our increasingly popular MSc courses in Engineering Management, Advanced Manufacturing Systems, and Advanced Engineering Design.
The successful candidates will be based primarily at the University’s main site in Uxbridge and may be required to travel to our other site near Cambridge and to other locations in both the UK and abroad.
