Are you working in quality assurance with experience of policy and compliance? This is your chance, as an Academic Quality Advisor, to really make a positive impact, play a key role and be a part of shaping the University’s approach to academic compliance and quality assurance. We are a growing team that offers you the support you need, whilst you expand your knowledge about higher education regulation and quality assurance.
This is a really exciting time for an Academic Quality Advisor to provide expert advice to both academic and professional services staff which in turn, has a positive impact on our students. Each Academic Quality Advisor has responsibility for two academic Schools of the University, offering day-to-day advice on quality assurance procedures, and reviewing programme documentation to check compliance.
You’ll also have an important role in acting as Secretary to one of the University’s sub-committees, working with the Pro Vice-Chancellors and the Head of Academic Governance and Quality to design agendas and ensure academic governance is run efficiently and effectively.
About you
You will be reflective and enthusiastic with experience of policy and compliance in either higher education or another regulated sector. You will have the confidence and professionalism to develop and maintain productive relations with internal staff at all levels of seniority, as well as external advisors and partner staff.
As a natural problem solver with an analytical mind, you will thrive on applying your knowledge of set guidelines and procedures appropriately and have a passion for explaining complex concepts clearly to non-expert audiences. You will be given the flexibility to identify solutions for wider or complex issues, whilst playing a key role in working effectively within the team.

We open our vacancies for two weeks at a time but appreciate that talented individuals like yourself get snapped up quickly, so we will be reviewing your details as we go.
