About us GDI Hub is a world-leading research and practice centre of disability innovation. It hosts the world’s first and only World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre on Assistive Technology. UCL Interaction Centre (UCLIC) is a world-leading centre of excellence in Human-Computer Interaction. The role will be specialise in developing, delivering and reviewing the GDI Hub Academic Research Centre’s internal and external communications strategy. Responsibilities will include understanding the research activity and developing content for social media, web and other communication platforms. The postholder will organise high profile events for example – distinguished lecture series and any other events as deemed appropriate by the team. Duration for the post is funded for 18 months in the first instance.

About you The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with up-to-date knowledge of social media channels and developments. A strong track record of managing and delivering top quality strategic communications and campaigns is a must. They will also be able demonstrate excellent communication skills and develop relations within the team as well as with partners/stakeholders.
