If you are an entrepreneurial academic, this is an exciting opportunity to build on the international reputation of the MA Innovation Management at Central Saint Martins (CSM).

MA Innovation Management at Central Saint Martins is one of the first courses to locate innovation management in an arts and design college. As Lecturer in Entrepreneurial Practice & Ecosystems, you will be responsible for entrepreneurship-focused teaching, mentoring, ecosystem building, related external clients and commercial project development.

Working collaboratively within a course team, you will deploy your specialist expertise to develop pedagogy and the curriculum in innovative and critical directions, through a focus on entrepreneurial practice, responding to student needs, the course vision, emerging opportunities and CSM/UAL entrepreneurship agendas.

You will take responsibility for postgraduate students’ entrepreneurial mentoring and support, progress and attendance, recruitment and maintaining records.

You will also be required to work with the course team to raise significant sums of external funding annually, including client fees and sponsorships.

Your profile

With a postgraduate degree in an innovation-related, creative subject, the successful candidate will possess experience of teaching and assessment in a higher education environment.

You should be able to evidence research, knowledge exchange and/ or professional practice that contributes to the advancement of entrepreneurial practice and ecosystems activity and of using contacts within your subject peer group to develop partnerships or collaboration.

Key to this role will also be your demonstrable track record of fundraising and project development with external partners in a higher education context.
