Summary:
Are you interested in working in a customer facing administrative role for a top ranked Management School in a world top 100 University? We are seeking to appoint two Student Enquiry Assistants on a fixed term (one year) basis to cover parental leave. If you are a highly motivated individual, with excellent IT and interpersonal skills, and want experience of working in a team supporting administration for students, then this may be the role for you. You will be working alongside colleagues in a team of 75 professional services staff across the School, providing administrative support to the Student Experience team, academic staff and our students, learning to use custom student record systems, processes and communication tools. We operate a hybrid working model and there is potential for the successful candidate to undertake an element of home working, as agreed with the line manager. There may also be potential to move into other roles within the School.
You should have at least 5 GCSEs including maths and English, excellent communication and IT skills, and some previous administrative experience. You should also have excellent customer service skills, with experience of responding efficiently and optimally to phone and email enquiries.
The Management School is one of around 100 Schools globally to be Triple Crown accredited, and we pride ourselves on our socially responsible research driven education. We’re one of the best not-for-profit organisations to work for in the UK. The University’s Total Reward Package includes a competitive salary, a generous Pension Scheme and annual leave entitlement, as well as access to a range of learning and development courses to support your personal and professional development.
We build teams of people from different heritages and lifestyles from across the world, whose talent and contributions complement each other to greatest effect. We believe diversity in all its forms delivers greater impact through research, teaching and student experience.
