ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll primarily teach the Project Management module to international students on the Graduate Diploma (L6) at the INTO Centre for students who are preparing for future University study and other students on customised courses, as required.

You’ll develop purposeful and appropriate schemes of work and lesson plans that provide for effective teaching and learning strategies and meet the individual needs of students whilst preparing, selecting and using appropriate teaching-learning and technology enhanced material and strategies.

You’ll develop and manage a student focused approach to learning and assessment and to enthuse a broad range of students in learning and achievement.

ABOUT YOU

  • You’ll possess the ability to teach Project Management modules at both Foundation level (NQF Level 6) and NQF Level 3 alongside possessing a relevant teaching qualification(s), ideally a PGCE
  • You’ll have relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications.
  • You’ll have the experience of managing learning across a range of class sizes.
  • You’ll have an understanding of the challenges of teaching international students for whom English is a second language and respect for students of different nationalities and cultures.
  • You’ll have previous experience of writing, marking and providing feedback on assessment in accordance with academic regulations.
  • You’ll have experience of tracking, recording & managing student attendance, achievement and progress and provide interventions to support student performance.
  • You’ll possess an enthusiasm for continual improvement and development
  • You’ll have a willingness to undertake additional responsibilities (i.e. programme development) in agreement with the line manager.
