Are you Interested in working for a world top 100 university? Applications are invited for a postdoctoral researcher/research associate working at the interface of category theory, computer science, and logic. This post is funded by the EPSRC Grant (EP/X019373/1) “Quantitative verification of software families based on coalgebraic modal logic and games” headed by the PI (Dr. Harsh Beohar). In particular, our aim will be to develop modal logic and game theoretic characterisations of behavioural equivalences/distances for coalgebras with side effects, i.e. coalgebras that live in Eilenberg-Moore or (co)Kleisli categories.
The post is based in Sheffield within the verification group of the Department of Computer Science at The University of Sheffield. In the context of this project, the candidate will also have the opportunity to collaborate with leading researchers working in the field of coalgebras/modal logic/concurrency theory from Strathclyde, Duisburg, and Nijmegen.
