About the role
Reporting to the Digital Academic Developer, the Student Digital Engagement Officer will work to deliver frontline support to students in digital technologies enhancing the student experience of digital learning. The role holder will play a key role in organising and developing Student Digital Mentors, devising a training programme and a series of events to support and develop the Mentors whilst they are in post. Working across the University with Student Support, Digital Services, the Students Union and the Teaching Innovation & Learning Enhancement Hub, the role holder will create resources to maximise student engagement in digital skills development. This role will be central to the University delivering continued high performance to achieve our ambition and our 2030 academic strategy. Working with key academic and professional service stakeholders, this role will facilitate bringing in new approaches to teaching and learning and implementing innovation.
