Drinkaware is the UK’s leading alcohol charity with a vision of ‘Working together to reduce alcohol harm across the UK’. We use our expertise to give government, industry, communities and individuals the knowledge and support to make informed decisions about alcohol and how to reduce the harm it can cause. We deliver public-facing campaigns and digital services, information and guidance, evidence-led advice to governments and industry, and independent research, consumer insight and evaluation.
About the role:
The Head of Impact will be responsible for building a culture of impact, for ensuring Drinkaware reaches our ambitious goals, and for creating an impact measurement framework.
This role is accountable for supporting the successful delivery of Drinkaware’s new organisational strategy by developing a new theory of change and impact measurement framework. This includes developing and tracking OKRs, strategic objectives and the impact of activities across the organisation to deliver its goals and mission.
Priorities will be to work closely with the leadership team ensuring the implementation of the new Strategy. Applying understanding of what makes impactful programmes work across the organisation, in addition ensuring teams prioritise activities in order to help us reach our goals and have impact.

About you:
You will be an accomplished senior professional, with leadership experience at senior management level, with a focus on strategic planning and implementation. You must possess excellent communication (written, interpersonal and presentation) skills and have experience in communicating complex findings to a variety of audiences and stakeholders. Additionally, you will have expertise in interpreting and displaying data, producing management reports and data, and presenting complex information in an abridged format.
You must have excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to deliver to regular deadlines for multiple audiences.
You will also have experience in reviewing and implementing evidenced based impact assessment tools and driving effective performance management of social impact. A personal commitment to reducing the risk of alcohol-related harm is essential.
