This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing marketing team at one of the largest academic departments at the University of Warwick.
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about marketing and communication, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the marketing of activity within the WMG centre High Value Manufacturing Catapult. The successful candidate will be liaising with academics, researchers and project managers to gain information for inclusion via our communications channels including print, online and social media, therefore excellent communication skills are a must. Significant copywriting and editing skills are required, as you’ll need to be able to present technical research to a lay audience. Experience of using content management systems and writing for the web are essential.
Significant knowledge of branding will be essential, along with previous experience of working with designers, to enable the creation of collateral for exhibitions and events, including banners and displays. A high level of teamwork will be required for this role to assist with the liaison between the WMG Marketing and Communications team and the Catapult team, to ensure brand compliance and exposure for the centre.
The successful candidate will bring experience of conducting market research activity to feed into the overall marketing strategy and plan for the centre, making sure this aligns with the overall WMG marketing strategy and plan.
Educated to A Level, the successful candidate will have relevant communications and marketing experience e.g. working within Higher Education or technology led organisation.
