This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact on a core activity within the department that has high visibility both internally and extern! ally.
About the role
Working closely with the DH of Strategy, the CPD Programme Manager will be responsible for the management and operation of CPD courses and any industry related events. This will involve dedicated support in the co-ordination, project management and administrative management on all these activities including: • Ensuring effective procedures are created and documented for dealing with all aspects running of the MBI and VISION CPD programmes - managing enquiries, recruitment, registrations, managing all financial aspects, course planning, creation of course materials and assisting staff and speakers etc. • Managing the registration and progression activities related to part-time MBI qualifications and liaising with the CDT Manager & Postgraduate Programme Manager. • Working with the DH of Strategy to develop strategies for focused recruitment on to MBI and VISION courses, designing and implementing robust marketing strategies and streamlining the departments CPD offering to for smooth operation. • Where required evaluating existing procedures with the DH of Strategy and designing new and improved ways of working. • Where required the placeholder will liaise with the Outreach Communications and Administration Co-ordinator to support with promotion of the activities mentioned above.
This post is funded for 3 years in the first instance.
About you
The successful should have experience dealing with students and customer enquiries of event-co-ordination and marketing skills. They should be self-motivated with strong communication skills and be able to problem solve. We are looking for someone with a hands-on approach and able to work to deadlines. They should also be willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
