This is an exciting post to support a small, specialised research team working primarily on large-scale primary care clinical trials. We are looking for a highly motivated, hard working and enthusiastic candidate to join our established team consisting of a Clinical Trial Manager, Research Nurse and Research Practitioner who provide clinical trials services. 

The post holder will: 

  • Assist with the efficient running of clinical trials in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference of Harmonisation (ICH) guidelines.
  • Assist with the setup of trials and provide support for their smooth running
  • Be able to complete data entry and maintain accuracy during the task
  • Assist with the efficient recruitment to clinical trials.
  • After training provide patients with advice regarding clinical trials
  • Actively contribute to developing the professional research practice of the department.
  • Work independently/autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Work closely with other members of staff.

Due to the wide range of tasks required to be undertaken, the post holder should be adaptable, flexible and show initiative. In addition, they need to show good communication skills, be able to liaise with all levels of staff, demonstrate good organisational skills with attention to details and have good time managements skills.

The post holder will be office based at the Queens Medical Centre Campus. This is a fixed term contract for 12 months and is offered at 18.12 hours over 3 days.
