This post is an exciting opportunity to join the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU). The unit designs and conducts high quality national and international multicentre trials across a range of health topics, collaborating with clinicians and academics within the University and local NHS trusts.
NCTU is a rapidly growing and we are seeking to recruit an Executive Assistant to work within our Unit Management Team.
The successful candidate will be a friendly, proactive and self-motivated individual, who is not fazed by constantly changing priorities and demands. You will have substantial administrative experience, excellent communication and people skills, as well as strong organisational skills. Your previous experience will enable you to provide professional, confidential and proactive administrative support to the NCTU Director, Deputy Director and Executive Committee members to support the execution of their responsibilities and the strategic aims of the School.
You will have experience of working in a busy office environment where customer service skills are paramount. You will have the ability to produce high-quality work in a demanding environment and to tight deadlines. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising and managing your own work whilst demonstrating flexibility to help other members of the team.
The post will be offered as a permanent role. The hours and days of work will be full-time (36.25 hours). However, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
