We are seeking to recruit a Senior Electives Manager to work within Imperial College Business School. The Business School is a world-leading research institute, home to a portfolio of innovative MSc and MBA programmes.
This managerial role will work across all of the Business School Programmes to define and implement the strategy for leading the School’s shared elective portfolio, including the introduction of an elective bidding system.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a professional team. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a genuine dedication to providing a high standard of customer service; an ability to take ownership of problems and work hard to resolve them, have good communication, team working and problem solving skills and have a positive, flexible approach to the role. You will be responsible for the operation, review and development of administrative systems to lead elective delivery across the School. The postholder is expected to routinely evaluate procedures and proactively suggest operating and strategic developments to ensure an excellent learning experience on the School’s programmes.
You should have excellent communication skills and be customer service oriented. You will be comfortable balancing multiple deadlines and prioritising effectively. You will have a commitment to providing high quality support and smooth operational delivery of the electives. You will also have the ability to work under pressure, working both independently and within a team. You will have experience working with MS Office and large amounts of data, as well as excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Previous experience of working in higher education is desirable.
