The Finance Department provides financial leadership in alignment with University strategy by delivering value and ensuring long term financial sustainability.
The Finance Support team is responsible for providing specialist Order to Cash and Purchase to Pay support to a large range of internal and external stakeholders. Through the provision of this service, this team contributes to ensuring finance transactions are accurate and the policies and procedures which underpin these are maintained and accessible to users. The team is also responsible for managing and developing the University’s online store, administering the purchase card process and for co-ordinating activity across the University to ensure compliance with the requirements of PCI DSS legislation.
We are seeking applications from motivated individuals to the post of Finance Advisor - Finance Support on a 12 month fixed term contract. Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have previous experience of customer service and relations ideally within a purchase and sales ledger environment and dealing with a broad range of stakeholders. You will demonstrate good IT skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure. Excellent inter-personal skills and a pro-active approach are essential, together with accuracy and a keen eye for detail. The post holder will be part of the team responsible for providing financial support services to the university including system support and end user training.
