Are you interested in working in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office supporting the senior committees of a University, where hybrid working is available? You will be joining a friendly and collaborative group of experienced colleagues, all of whom are looking forward to supporting you in being a success in the role.
 
We are looking to appoint an Executive Support Administration Officer (Governance Officer) to provide high quality, professional administrative support to the Head of Secretariat.
Reporting directly to the Head of Secretariat, the post holder will undertake a range of administrative duties as well as servicing the Board, its senior sub-committees and the Vice-Chancellor’s Group (VCG).
 
The role provides scope for wider development, including project planning and implementation.
 
You will have:
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and meet set deadlines
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of servicing committees / meetings
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
