This is an exciting opportunity to play a fundamental role in enabling the University to embed strategic changes, driven by its ambitious 2021-2026 Strategy.
About the role
This highly visible role consists of two key elements:
You will quickly become involved in the Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Departments Evolution project, which is focused on harnessing the existing strengths of the Department, investing in systems and developing the skills of our people to build a solid digital foundation that enables the delivery of the University’s strategy, increasing efficiency and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Through this project you will be empowering, enabling and connecting our people to drive positive change.
This is a fixed-term role for a period of 2 years.

About the team
The SPO is a new function, formed to support delivery of the new University strategy. The SPO’s vision is to drive change, delivering benefits for the organisation through a structured project and change management approach. The team provides hands-on project and change management to sustain changes and realise intended benefits. In addition, SPO acts as a project and change management centre of excellence, sharing best practice, frameworks, tools and tips with departments across the University, driving a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and learning.
