The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the world's largest law schools. With an impressive history dating back to 1876, we employ over 900 staff and have over 14,000 students studying on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with an alumni network in excess of 100,000.In 2016, we opened our leading Business School, further enhancing our reputation as a full service legal, business and educational training specialist, operating from campuses throughout the UK, Berlin and Hong Kong and an Online campus.

Due to significant student growth, we are looking to recruit law tutors; qualified solicitors, barristers and law academics who can demonstrate successful legal practice/academic experience to work at our Leeds and/or Newcastle campuses.  

You will enjoy being challenged (by students and course content in equal measure) and be able to adapt to the different learning styles of students and methods of course delivery. You will be eager to share your expertise and become involved in all aspects of enhancing the student experience within our campuses, primarily teaching on our SQE, LPC, GDL, LLB & BPC programmes. Please note that classes are also routinely delivered over weekends and evenings and tutors are expected to work flexibly within these parameters.
