Location: South Kensington campus (hybrid). The College is currently trialling a Work Location Framework. The role holder will be expected to work 60% of their time onsite.
Job summary: The College has an opportunity for an outstanding individual to lead the Provost’s Office team in the delivery of excellent strategic support of the Provost, Professor Ian Walmsley FRS. The Provost leads the academic mission of the College, overseeing its research, education and innovation and translation activities.
Duties and responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate the effective and efficient running of the Provost’s Office, within the complex College and wider higher education environment. You will lead on the annual cycle of initiatives and events within the Provost’s remit and manage the coordination of relevant committees and working groups for strategic, cross-College projects. You will act as a conduit to help ensure effective information flow, both within the College and with important external contacts, ensuring that Professor Walmsley is provided with appropriate information and research to inform decision making at the highest level.
