The Department of Politics and International Studies (PAIS) at the University of Warwick is seeking to appoint a Programmes Officer to cover a maternity leave until the end of November 2023. This would be an excellent opportunity for a secondment to develop your skills and experience. 36.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will work with academic colleagues to ensure the efficient delivery of the department’s academic programmes and, together with other colleagues in the Programmes Team, provide an outstanding experience for students.
In this varied role you will be part of a team that gets involved in all aspects of the student lifecycle, including university Open Days, Welcome Week at the start of the academic year, scheduling classes, organising assessments and examinations, attending graduation ceremonies and many more activities in between!
The successful candidate will have prior administration or customer service experience in an office environment. You will be a highly organised team player, who can prioritise their workload and build and maintain effective relationships with both staff and students. Good IT skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly are essential. As a part of our Programmes Team you will be working alongside other colleagues doing the same role as you. You will have the team's support and can draw on their skills and experience alongside training and support to ensure you become confident in all our systems and processes.
