We are now seeking to recruit a Head of Timetabling; a significant new role for the institution with its main purpose being to strengthen the university’s capability to plan the academic timetable within a context of growth.

Reporting to the Academic Registrar, you will lead on establishing the new timetabling team, to be created through the merger of existing teams and the creation of additional posts, and will ensure the provision of a high quality, proactive, customer focused timetabling service. You will lead on the development and delivery of an institutional Timetabling Policy that puts students at the centre, and will co-ordinate and align the space management function in Estates/Facilities and the development of the academic timetable to ensure the optimum use of space.

Your profile 

To apply, you must be able to demonstrate substantial experience of the operation of timetabling within higher education with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, and have a successful record of considering and evolving timetabling processes, applying innovative solutions that have strategic impact.  

As an experienced leader with successful change management experience, you will also have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate in a compelling and influential way and build effective teams, networks and communities of practice.
