Applications are invited for the above post based in the University’s Research & Innovation department at the Jubilee Campus, Nottingham. The University of Nottingham is a research-driven institution with a leading international profile. Research & Innovation provides support, advice and guidance to the University’s research community. It also facilitates interaction between academics, research sponsors, and with business, regional and wider communities.
The post sits within the Post Award team, within Research Operations, part of Research & Innovation. The post holder will work as part of a busy team providing Post Award financial administration of externally funded research project accounts, ensuring compliance with University regulations and funder requirements.
The successful candidate should be educated to HNC/HND level (or equivalent) and/or hold current membership of the Association of Accounting Technicians and/or broad vocational experience in a relevant area. You will have substantial experience in a comparable and relevant role, demonstrating general knowledge of technical, financial, and professional practice. You will be able to evidence your commitment to continuing professional development in these areas.
The role holder will report to an Assistant Manager within Post Award.
The position is offered on a permanent basis and is available immediately. Hours are full time (36.25 hours per week). Job share arrangements may be considered.
