Background
Our joint department combines education and research in both Midwifery and Radiography, and we are proud to be one of London’s leading education providers in these fields, delivering courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
Our Midwifery and Radiography Teams comprise academic and professional experts leading a range of innovative pre and post-registration programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Responsibilities
The appointed academic will contribute to high quality undergraduate and postgraduate diagnostic radiography education including course delivery and development, links with practice placements, management, and student support.
Person Specification
The appointed candidate will have strong academic experience and a professional background, including experience in diagnostic radiography practice. They will hold registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (or equivalent) and will have extensive experience in delivering high quality diagnostic radiography education. In addition to the above, for appointment on the Education & Research role profile, a record of producing world-leading or internationally excellent research is required.
