The role
UKTIN (UK Telecoms Innovation Network) funded by the Department of Science Innovation and Technology (DSIT), is a new body dedicated to supporting innovative new companies and the wider telecoms ecosystem to access and navigate R&D funding and facilities and create opportunities to collaborate on developing new technologies and driving the development of open networks.
In this role you will work collaboratively, with external partners and be the overall lead coordinating the creation and delivery of UK telecoms R&D capabilities database and tool, based at the University of Bristol.
What will you be doing?
Specific tasks undertaken by this role will include analysing and utilising information provided by existing databases as well as publication data to to map the research and knowledge exchange expertise from UK Universities and industry eliciting requirements from stakeholders, analyse the requirements, document them in business requirements documents and create functional specifications.

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent individual that has previous experience of Technical Management/Co-ordination and Data Analysis within projects. You should have expert knowledge of relevant specialist software, to include some but not all of the following: SQL - to query databases (relational) , Python - writing code and sharing analysis , MATLAB, DevOps.
